Vacancies

  • The Mortgage Adviser’s duties will be:
    • Liaise directly with product providers, lenders, advisers and solicitors.
    • Managing cases from initial application to completion, ensuring the client/s and all other relevant parties are kept fully informed.
    • Answering all customer and third party queries.
    • Assist senior management and the Board of Directors with ad hoc duties as and when required
    • Providing IT support to our clients (training will be provided for this task).
    • Any additional tasks identified by the Office Manager commensurate with experience.

    Criteria to qualify:

    • CeMAP qualified. Having CeRER, DipFA or relevant will be added bonus
    • Certified competent in your current company
    • Have a consistent track record of achieving your goals within your current role
    • Good interpersonal skills,
    • Excellent communication skills, confident in talking to people at all levels of seniority
    • Experience working in a busy environment, ideally working in a busy mortgage farm.
    • Ability to build rapport and have an enthusiastic sales approach
    • Motivated working towards KPIs & targets
    • 2 years experience in UK Mortgage Industry

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

    • 25 days holiday, increasing through length of service.

Responsibilities

  • Providing mortgage and protection advisers with administrative support
  • Ensuring all data entry is completed accurately and within specified timelines
  • Acting as the point of contact for our clients throughout the mortgage and protection journey providing a friendly and efficient service
  • Requesting and uploading all necessary documentation to ensure business is processed smoothly
  • Preparation of client suitability reports
  • Liaising with lenders and providers and get regular updates on the progress of applications
  • Responding to day to day queries from Advisers, Clients and Providers
  • Recording and updating the back office systems accurately

Experience and qualifications

  • Experience of working in a busy Financial Services environment
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills with a high degree of accuracy
  • A high level of initiative and the ability to work effectively under pressure and react to changing workloads, deadlines and timescales.
  • A good understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Be able to multitask and prioritise effectively

  • Work at a flexible pace that suits you
  • Provide full advice and recommendations on both Mortgage and Protection Services
  • Be responsible for the full end-to-end process of applications ensuring that you are identifying your client’s needs and offering advice and products that best suits their requirements
  • Treat your clients with the highest regards ensuring that they receive the correct and compliant financial advice whilst making sure that they fully understand the products and services that are available to them
  • Be able to prepare for future appointments and generate referrals whilst attracting new customers and business
  • Be seen as the ‘hub of knowledge’ – an expert in your client’s needs with a goal to help your clients to achieve their property dreams

Experience:

  • Computing skills
  • 2 years experience in UK Mortgage Industry

 

Certified competent in previous/ current employment
